In 1907 Jim Casey borrowed 100 dollars from a friend to start the American Messenger Company in Seattle. Before becoming United Parcel Service in 1919 the company was called Merchants Parcel Delivery for a time. Now with approximately 100,000 vehicles, 400,000 staff, 3000 worldwide operating facilities and 9 million customers, UPS sens almost 4 Billion parcels annually. UPS also operates its own Airline, with an active fleet of 230 aircraft.

UPS Worldwide & EU Express is a time definite service covering Europe and the World. It offers a Next Day service throughout Europe to most urban areas, a two day service to the USA & Canada and major regions of the world and a 2 to 3 day service worldwide. Some remote areas can take longer.

UPS Worldwide & EU Standard is an economy service which offers an economical 2 to 5 day service throughout Europe and a 7 to 8 day service throughout the World. Some remote areas can take longer.
